WINEMAKING PROCESS:

VIÑAS VENGO roble red wine comes from ancient vineyards, with vine plants over 50 years old. The grape variety Tempranillo, or Tinta del País as it is known locally, comes from altitudes of 800 – 900m with continental climate. This gives the wine a special character in their taste and aromas, completed its ageing for 3 months in American oak barrels.

Nose:

Intense and rich aromas with fruity, woody and vanilla flavour tones.

Serve as aperitiff with blue and cured cheeses, salty treats, and hearty pastas and barbeque meats and sausages. Best served at 15-17 ºC.
